The Government of Maharashtra has established the "ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL" under the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions & Fees) Act, 2015 (Mah. Act No. XXVIII of 2015).
The Commissioner of the State CET Cell has been designated as the Competent Authority for conducting MHT-CET 2025 and overseeing the selection process for admissions to 4-Year Full-Time Undergraduate Degree courses in Engineering and Technology for the Academic Year 2025-26.
All candidates who have passed or are appearing for the qualifying examination, i.e., HSC/12th Standard or its equivalent, and possess Indian Nationality, are eligible to appear for MHT-CET 2025.
Note: There is no age limit for admission or appearing in MHT-CET 2025.
The examination will be conducted at various centres across Maharashtra as well as outside the state via Online mode (Computer-Based Test) for PCM and PCB groups separately. Candidates can choose to appear for either one or both exams. The group-wise schedule will be shared later. Once chosen, the option cannot be changed under any condition.

The key details of the MHT-CET 2025 exam pattern are listed below for reference:
🔹 MHT-CET 2025 is a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) test with 4 response options per question. Candidates must choose the correct answer. |
🚪 No Entry After Gate Closure: Candidates arriving late will not be allowed to appear for MHT-CET 2025. |
⏳ Strict Timing: The exam will end as per the schedule mentioned in the admit card. No extra time will be given under any circumstances. |
📵 Prohibited Items: Electronic gadgets such as cell phones, calculators, smartwatches, and alarm clocks are not allowed inside the exam hall. |
🚪 No Early Exit: Candidates cannot leave the exam hall until the test concludes. Re-entry is not allowed after leaving. |
🚨 Unfair Means: Candidates caught cheating will be debarred from MHT-CET 2025 and future admission processes. |
📊 Marking Scheme: Physics & Chemistry questions carry 1 mark each, while Mathematics questions carry 2 marks each. |
⏱️ Exam Duration: Candidates have 180 minutes to solve 150 questions. |
❌ No Negative Marking: No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. |
💻 Question Display: Questions will appear on the computer screen one at a time. Avoid spending too much time on a single question. |
🗣️ Exam Language: The test is available in English, Marathi, and Urdu. Urdu & Marathi question papers are available only if selected as the preferred language during application. |
📜 Dispute Resolution: In case of discrepancies, the English version of the question paper will be considered final. |
