Eligibility Criteria for GUJCET 2025

Every applicant must fulfill the GUJCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria before applying.

The GUJCET 2025 eligibility criteria will be available online with the official notification. Below are the key eligibility requirements for candidates applying for the exam.

Who Can Apply?
  • Candidates who have passed or are appearing for the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Science Stream) conducted by GSEB.
  • Candidates who have passed or are appearing for Std. XII Science Stream conducted by CBSE through recognized schools in Gujarat.
  • Candidates who have passed or are appearing for Std. XII Science Stream conducted by CISCE through recognized schools in Gujarat.
  • Candidates who are heirs of Gujarat State Government/Central Government employees posted in other states and have passed or are appearing for the HSC Science Stream exam in that state.
  • Other candidates eligible for admission as per the JACPC (Joint Admission Committee for Professional Courses) rules.

Examination Scheme for GUJCET 2025

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) consists of multiple-choice questions from the following subjects. The number of questions, marks, and exam duration are as follows:

Note: The Physics and Chemistry exam will be combined, consisting of 80 questions (40 from each subject), with a total of 80 marks and a duration of 120 minutes. A single OMR answer sheet will be used.
The Mathematics exam will be conducted separately with 40 questions, totaling 40 marks and a duration of 60 minutes, with a separate OMR answer sheet.

Medium of Examination for GUJCET 2025

The question papers for the GUJCET examination will be available in the following three languages:

  • Gujarati
  • Hindi
  • English

GUJCET 2025 Syllabus

For the academic year 2024-25, the syllabus for GUJCET 2025 will be based on the NCERT-reduced curriculum, adopted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar, for the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Standard-12) Science Stream.
